\n\t\tOur History\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

We were born out of necessity- when our co-founder\u2019s daughter faced discrimination by an educator in high school and there was no organization to help defend her, our co-founder fought to bring diversity trainings to all 14 schools in the district and began trainings at schools and organizations all over Massachusetts.<\/p>\n

The trainings were successful and gained media attention through interviews and articles. One of the radio interviews even led to our \u201cPerspectives\u201d show on the same station. Since then, we have grown in number and in ambition.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"warren\"\n

\n\t\tOur Services\n\t<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t\"speaking_1\"\n\t

We work with the community to overcome misunderstanding by providing educational content, presentations, and training. We host events and rally behind common causes to defend justice and human rights.<\/p>\n

We produce \u201cPerspectives\u201d<\/a>, a TV and radio show which brings to life the oft-forgotten perspective of women, minorities, and immigrants. We also maintain an email newsletter<\/a> to keep people informed with what we are doing.<\/p>\n\t\t\t

“You were kind enough to come to my class “Social Media, Social Movements, and the Environment” two years ago to chat with my students about your path to social activism and to discuss their interests in social action. That class was the highest rated by my students, and some of them are still talking about the impact it had on them. I am writing to see if you are willing to come back to talk to a new group of students, along with other activists, this year.”<\/p>\n\t\t\t

\u201cAs a politically progressive caucasian, raised in the Catholic Church as a child, I was curious and welcomed the opportunity at learn about \u201cThe American Muslim\u201d. It was worth the one hour drive. It was worth the wealth of information, new learning and a new friend, Asima.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\n\t\t\t
